Empowering Agriculture Professionals through Skill Development

On December 20, 2024, the Jagadguru Kripalu Skill Institute (JKSI) conducted the final assessment for 52 BSc Agriculture students from CV Raman Global University. These students were part of a two-month Agri Extension Service Provider Skill Training Program, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry needs. The program was supported by the Skill Ministry of India, which also deputed two examiners to oversee the evaluations.

The candidates showcased commendable performance during the assessment, with the results expected to be announced within the next ten days.

Placement Achievements

In a significant milestone, JKSI has facilitated placement offers for 42 out of the 52 candidates with two leading agri-corporates last week. Additionally, three more campus interviews have been scheduled and are expected to take place after the announcement of the final results, further boosting placement opportunities for the students.

Program Overview

This residential training program, the first of its kind at JKSI, aimed to provide agriculture students with:

  • Practical Skill Development: Combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on training in agricultural extension services.
  • Industry Exposure: Equipping students with insights and competencies aligned with industry demands.

The program reflects JKSI’s commitment to empowering the next generation of agricultural professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to make meaningful contributions to the sector.

Looking Ahead

JKSI congratulates all the candidates on their successful journey and extends its best wishes for their future endeavors. With their newfound skills, they are well-prepared to bring innovation and positive change to the agricultural landscape. We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success.
