On August 21st, our first batch of students headed out for a city tour as part of their two-week induction programme. The outing gave students an opportunity to take a break from their induction activities, explore the city together, and spend some relaxed time getting to know one another better.
The day began on a lively note, with non-stop Antakshari, singing, and dancing throughout the bus ride to Dhauli Shanti Stupa. The cheerful atmosphere continued as students explored the monument and enjoyed the experience together. After the visit, everyone headed to Jayadeva Vatika, where they stopped for lunch amidst the greenery and spent some time relaxing before enjoying a quick ice cream treat.
With 10 of our faculty members also joining the students, the outing became a wonderful opportunity for everyone to interact beyond the classroom. The day concluded with plenty of shared laughs, joyful moments, and positive energy as the students returned to their hostels, making it a memorable part of their induction journey and their early days at JKU.
