Dr. Meghnath Verma is an accomplished Yoga and Naturopathy academician, researcher, clinician, and educator with more than a decade of experience. His professional journey reflects advancing evidence-based Yoga and Naturopathy through education, clinical practice, and scientific research.

Dr. Verma completed his Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) from Shri Mahavir Medical College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Nagpura, Durg (Chhattisgarh), affiliated with Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, in 2011. He subsequently completed his M.D. in Yoga from S-VYASA University, Bengaluru, in 2016, becoming the first M.D. in Yoga from Chhattisgarh.

He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in academic administration and had the distinction of serving as the youngest Principal of Shri Mahavir Medical College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Nagpura, Durg. His administrative experience has provided him with extensive exposure to curriculum development, academic planning, institutional management, student education, and professional development in Yoga and Naturopathy. Dr. Verma has also gained diverse clinical and professional experience through his association with several reputed Yoga and Naturopathy wellness institutions across India, including Five Lotus Indogerman Health Resort, Mahasamund (Chhattisgarh); Ingo-German Natural Health Centre, Gurgaon; and Shri Ramanand Naturopathy Centre, Guna (Madhya Pradesh). He has served as a Research Officer in the Department of Yoga and Naturopathy at AIIMS Raipur, where he was involved in research and scientific activities related to Yoga and Naturopathy.

His research interests encompass Yoga therapy, mind–body medicine, neuropsychology, brain functions, mental health, and evidence-based naturopathic interventions. Dr. Verma has been actively engaged in research for more than a decade and has contributed to the scientific literature through experimental research, review articles, and narrative reviews published in peer-reviewed journals and other academic platforms. His research interests include areas such as Yoga and schizophrenia, Yoga and brain functions, mind–body medicine, stress and psychological well-being, and integrative approaches to health and wellness. He has also presented his academic and research work at numerous national and international conferences, participating both as a delegate and as a Guest Speaker.

His vision is to promote rigorous, evidence-based research, develop innovative approaches to integrative healthcare, and create new opportunities for the advancement and global recognition of Yoga and Naturopathy as systems of health and wellness.
